Life After People I'm watching this History Channel program, and I think it's really good. That's all.

Ooh, now they're going to Chernobyl.

Presumably inspired by the book The World Without Us, which is also good.

I was wondering if that'd be good. Now I know.

It looks interesting.

I don't know if there is life after people, but would be willing to find out.

I liked the skyscraper ecologies. Shame they'll have to fall down in the end...

Feral housecats as top predators in skyscraper ecologies? Yeah, that's definitely pretty awesome.

We're getting rid of my cell phone plan so we can afford digital cable so we can see programs like this, yay!

And I've requested a copy of The World Without Us from my local library, yay!

I loved WORLD WITHOUT US and was psyched as hell to see this as well. They spent a lot of time showing clips of animals - way more than I needed (and way more than the the book did). I'm assuming that's because footage of an animal walking around is more exciting that footage of a weed slowly pulling apart a building. When I read that book I was hoping that there'd be a few Discovery type shows covering the same topic in it's wake. Hopefully this is just the first of many.
