Radio Mecha - Music Box : Covers It'sa me, on the Radio Mecha, playing an hour or two of cover songs. Maybe I'll slip the occasional parody or response song or reinterpretation or something in there. Please listen, if you're so inclined.

That's a very good question, eth. I'm not a Mac person, but some of the other Radio Mecha folks are. I hope somebody will know the answer.
Was Al Green's version of "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" considered some kind of payback for the Beatles doing "Twist and Shout"? I'm a fan of the Right Rev. Green but that just sounded ... not right. (Compared to Little Stevie doing "We Can Work It Out", which works.)
Hey, the Isley Brothers can fight their own battles. Ronnie's Mr. Biggs. Hell, he's doing time. I kinda dig that Al Green version. Shows the versatility of even early Beatles songwriting, and just seems so grown-up.
