Even the opposing San Francisco Giants did their part Monday, showing up as perhaps the worst team to play here in 50 years. . more Baseballfilter→[More:]. , but I would have given a lot to be there, with all of the guys I worshiped walking out onto the field, topped with Sandy and Vin. It had to be as loud and any rock and roll crowd.

I grew up as a Dodgers fan living northern California. I continued to follow them after I lost most interest in baseball. Then they went corporate, and all that tradition and history was thrown out, and they tried to make the franchise into another Disneyland. It was sick. It's nice to see the new owners have some sort of clue.

I'm a former Giants fan, and I'm glad they took down all the Barroids stuff from PacBell Park.
