I think the intersection of MeFi readers and MeCha readers is subsumed by the subset of MeFi readers who also read MeTa. I mean, if not for MeTa, I wouldn't even know about about MeCha.

I see the Mefi comments but the YouTube side is blank other than their logo.

I think a few people are using the Firefox add-on "better You Tube". You can go to "tools", then "add-ons", and disable it. That works for me, though re-enabling it doesn't get rid of the You Tube comments.
