What are your Easter plans? →[More:]
Yesterday was a quiet day for me, unwinding after a busy week at work.
Today I'm going over to Kensington for lunch with a friend from work, and then we're going to
this exhibition.
Tomorrow I'm watching football on TV. The top four teams in the Premiership are playing (Man U vs Liverpool and Chelsea vs Arsenal) and it's at a crucial stage in the season, with just eight more games to play.
On Monday a friend is coming over for lunch. I'm cooking lamb, which is the traditional Easter meal here.
But the weather is absolutely appalling. It's sleeting heavily here today and the temperature is going to be stuck around freezing for the next couple of days. Seanyboy may get
snow where he lives.
Easter is a big holiday weekend in the UK. I suppose it's our equivalent of Thanksgiving - big family get togethers, a long weekend, football on TV.
I feel sorry for people running craft markets, which usually start appearing at this time of year, or who have seaside businesses. Easter is usually the start of the season for coastal resorts. The weather will kill trade this weekend.
So do you celebrate Easter? And if so, how?
