Man, I needed to do that! Can you say week from hell?

So what's everyone up to this weekend? Me, i'm cooking for a friend's surprise birthday on Saturday and Sunday i'm going to get a deep tissue massage...but tonight, i have a date...with a beer bottle!

Yay beers! I think I'm probably going to do a whole lot of nothing... I'm not really feeling up to much else tonight. Nothing is necessary sometimes, I think.

Saturday we're going to take the dog over to Lincoln Park in West Seattle for her first big walk since she broke her nail. Afterwards, I think we're going to Easy Street so I can use the gift certificate Science Girl gave me. Sunday, there are vague plans for ham. Other than that, I don't know.

Also, yay beer.

Saturday I'm going to a surprise birthday party that will involve girls jumping out of cakes, belly dancers, and burlesque.

I plan on making strata (breakfast casserole) for Sunday, can't decide if I want to brave the throngs of Easter-only churchgoers though so I might stay home.

I took Monday off from work, and plan on treating myself to a grand day out.

Or i don't know exactly.

Right now i am having a drink, making snickerdoodles for the first time as i do a recipe card illustrated for snickerdoodles, making a Easter birthday dress for the Bees, taking pictures of different springy things for you, and other things i keep starting every time it occurs to me this is a good time to do laundry, knowing full well it can wait.

YAAAAY beer!

Have been playing a new video game since about 5 pm... just finished dinner (mmm, spaghetti) and am now deciding whether to spend the rest of the evening in brutal automotive combat or playing the Sims.

The rest of the weekend involves errands, more beer, more video games, some photography, Easter lunch with mom, and us working in her yard to get it ready for spring.

Local Burning Man parties. Two of 'em! One of which is on the same beach space as my church's Saturday-night gathering. So it'll be fun running between those two crowds... :-) Sunday, a monstrous Easter service at one of the local amphitheatres: 6,000 people came last year (eep).

Girlfriend has to work the whole weekend as managers end up covering every second holiday. We have movies lined up for the evenings and I am doing a Lamb Tagine on Sunday.

Ooh... Twisted Metal was my favorite video game in high school. I would go to my friend Pat's house and we'd play for hours with his little brother. I had the BF pick up a copy of it for our original PS and we still break it out every once and a while - that, and Tekken.

I'm planning on going to Radio Shack this weekend to get a new power cord for my ipod docking station. My old one crapped out on me a couple of weeks ago and sitting in my office at work without music is slowly driving me crazy.
