My first crawfish boil. Help me not make an idiot of myself.
→[More:]So, I've had the swamp-bugs before, but always in some kind of gumbo or "sushi" or whatnot. Tomorrow, I'm going to a three-honoree birthday party (one of whom is the belatedly honored SO).
Sadly, I've never been privy to the boiled crawfish, as yet. Any advice for a first timer? As beer will be present, and it starts at 3PM, I'm sure that at some point in time I'll knock up the courage to suck the head.
