Thirty cool bookshelves. Oh, okay, thirty-one.

→[More:]I like the 'Shelves with a Bench' one best, but would order it in a different colour combination. The black/pink doesn't do it for me.

I call bullshit on the 31st, but some of these are super fun. I like the one with the pink couchish thing in the middle though I bet it's not very comfy. Thanks for this.

Some of those look quite nifty but most of them fail by a considerable margin the single most central facet of being a bookshelf; holding lots of books in an easily arranged and safe manner.

I need a bunch of bookshelves but they need to, you know, hold books. Anyone have any suggestions for modern bookshelves where as much thought is put into holding large quantities of books?

Sure--buy the same stuff that libraries do. Brodart, Demco and Gaylord are three of the big vendors.
