No.
I hate pickles.

But what I find most obscene is its USDA approved for schools?!?!

I love pickles. But no.

I agree with arse_hat.

I'd hit it.

I'm going to place a call with my picklephone.

Why is my tummy ringing?

Frozen picklesickles. Yeah. An idea whose time has has not come.

*shoves rainbaby a pickle*

Wait, better put that another way. . .

But is it a Dill Pickle Sickle or a Sweet Pickle Sickle? Yes, it makes a difference.

Can we start making fun of TEXAS now?

Is it kosher?

Fortunately, the good folks at the Washington Post saw fit to conduct a taste test with the target market. Video.

Ew. No. Pickles are bad enough, but these? Ew. No.

I agree. No. Yuck.

But what I find most obscene is its USDA approved for schools?!?!

Certainly some districts are better than others, but you should see what they serve up in my son's elementary school. Here is the menu. Last school year, when I was volunteering a lot. I ate lunch in the school cafeteria almost everyday I was there. I swear I gained 10 pounds from eating canned ravioli and gigantic wheat rolls. Granted, the lunch person was giving me larger portions because I was an adult. Now, my hours are earlier and I don't stay for lunch but I still let my child buy school lunch. He's very active and doesn't overeat.

Huh, I just checked my high school's online menu. It hasn't changed much. Steak fingers and chicken fried steak are still staples. I don't see BBQ'd hot dogs anywhere, though, and that's a good thing.

I think the website says it all:

It's hard to imagine someone thought of the idea to create frozen treats made from pickle juice. It is even harder to believe someone tried it and liked it.

The video was cute, but no.

I just checked the menu at one of my former elementary schools--today, they're offering a choice of CHEESY BREADSTICKS (w/marinara), FRESH-BAKED CHEESE PIZZA or PB & J., with CELERY STICKS and JELLO.

I like drinking "pickle juice" but this grosses even ME out.

Mmmm, pickle juice. I look forward to finishing off a jar of dills just so I can guzzle the salty goodness left behind.

Okay, perhaps I could have worded that differently, but I'm too lazy to try right now.
