If you can only read part of it, scroll down to the question "Was last year just too much? You had a new job, a book coming out, your own show, a season of 'PR.'" and read about Tim's diva moment.

The original article, from the Chigago Tribune.

Oh geesh, I meant to link to the article, of course, and not my ONTD comment! Could someone fix the link, perhaps?

Thanks, TPS. I loved it. I love TG.

Me tooooooooo!! I hope to run into him on the streets of NYC someday! Hopefully on a day when I look FIERCE!

My biggest nightmare is that I'll run into TG, and he'll look me up and down, and say, "Oh, honey, you're a hot mess!" I'm getting all upset just thinking about it.

Yay! Thank you for posting this.

Ha. I was really surprised to hear that VH was so difficult. The counting money thing was crazy. I'm so glad to hear there will be a season 5.

I really hope they cut the underwear drawer thing out of Guide to Style. It's so dumb. Another thing I don't like about Guide to Style is when Tim says, "I'll be right over", as if it were completely spontaneous and of course it isn't. The makeover recipient is dressed, the house is spotless. The camera crew is in the house. You can tell that Tim is annoyed with these parts of the show, but unfortunately Bravo thinks that viewers want drama and turmoil. I could care less. Show me the clothes, show me some techniques and tips to dress better. I also think Veronica Webb is boring as hell. She and Tim don't go well together. She has nothing to say and she is a little flat. If it were me I would just stick Tim Gunn in there without a cohost. And that is the end of my Guide to Style tangent.

Yeah, one of the things I always loved about Project Runway is that it was so focused on the actual work. It felt like it was getting away from that the last few seasons, then back again this season. (It's actually one of the reasons I started watching ANTM, actually, because I thought the lessons on how to model were really interesting, but they stopped showing those or focusing on the learning process at all. Boo.)

I also think that it was pretty revolutionary to have Tim Gunn on the show, strictly as a mentor to the contestants. One of my problems with ANTM is that Tyra has to constantly shift from mentor to judge, and it's a little schizophrenic sometimes. I can tell that Tim really wants each and every person to succeed.

Agreed! I think she's too much like Tim, honestly- too refined, too prissy. They need someone young and crazy and wise and lovable, to balance out Tim.

In other Project Runway news, Jillian is a sore loser. Yikes.

God, those comments on the Jillian interview are nasty.

You could pretty much see exactly what Jillian was thinking during the judging. I wish she had the sense to keep those thoughts to herself in the interview, but no. Everyone talks about how immature Christian is, which is true, but Jillian has plenty of growing up to do, too.
