Think outside the box! Possible actions (ordered by least to most effort):

1) put peanut butter on the bottom of your shoes, walk around on rice. Toss or refrigerate shoes, depending on how much you like peanut butter.

2) Add more rice to floor, plus "interactive" technology of some kind; call it an "installation".

3) Install new floor over old floor

4) Move

Man, I was just going to suggest using a vacuum cleaner.

I am small and dull.

Alternatively, if you don't have a vacuum, leave it there for two days, by which time it will be dry and dessicated. Then use a broom.

Still pretty dull.

The plasticky, tiled kind - moderately soft underfoot. Concrete, you're going to tell me to take a blowtorch to it, aren't you? -cries-

And Hadjiboy/Mudpuppie you both are about as dull as seasoned rice in a lotus leaf.
