*From the Dollar store. Gave them to our medical director to see if she thinks it's OK to recommend them to teens. No, I'm not pregnant. Nor is there any chance.

Almond-vanilla granola, for breakfast
Potato gnochetti (packaged), for dinner
Onion, for sauce for gnocchi
Body wash
Rice crackers & herbed chevre, for lunch

I bought all of those simultaneously, though. If we do last five discrete purchasing events, it would be groceries for meals today, a burrito for dinner last night, a sandwich and iced tea for lunch on Tuesday, groceries to cover Monday and Tuesday dinners, and a bus pass.

Oh I forgot that I ordered two cookbooks books that jadepearl recommened that I buy yesterday and that at the same time I also ordered the Dancing Aztecs book that essexjan posted about at AskMe. The reviews at amazon really sold me....I don't think I've ever read a funny book and I'm very curious.

So scratch the pineapple and add the books.

(because, you know...it's very important that you all know that the pineapple is actually the sixth thing I bought and not the fifth)

- a tempur-pedic mattress

My wife has wanted one. I started "slow," with a pillow. She hated it. Neighbors on either side have Tempurpedics, and wilst watching their houses while they have been away, we "tried" it out. No not that way.

So she's decided that it's not for her, but with the reasoning that she's too light (she IS very skinny) and does not sink in.

So, how do you like it, ico?

danf, it's awesome. It's like being on a cloud...very comforting. I'm a super light sleeper but for the few days we've had it I've overslept twice...hehe. Not good for my work ethic, but other than that it's great!

I was just telling my husband that the two main things I've noticed are that I barely turn over in my sleep....if I sleep for 6-7 hours when I wake up I'm in the same position. And the other thing...good thing I hardly turn over, because it's hard! It's like you have to pull yourself out of the mattress first - you can't just turn over like you would on a regular one. He noticed that too. Ours is pretty smushy and soft.

stewriffic: that is pretty cool of you to check those tests out. The first time I saw that the dollar store had pregnancy tests, I was deeply concerned. I mean if anyone needs one that works it's someone who has to buy it from a dollar store.
