Clothe me! I am pretty much in need of a new warddrobe. →[More:]

After years of getting nothing but t-shirts as gifts from friends, I requested a moratorium. But now I'm pretty well out of t-shirts again. So I'll need some of those. My old fedora got crushed, and my ball-cap hasn't been washed in a decade, so I might like a new hat. Plus whatever else you can think of. Recommend the awesome and obscure to me!

I know a bunch of sites, but would appreciate links to specific articles of clothing. Use what you know about me, and surprise me!

I know this isn't a link to anything specific, but I get lots of great ideas from The Sartorialist. I just love it. I wonder how many people get dressed up and walk up and down the streets of the meatpacking district in hopes that they'll be spotted?

I love this especially (you may have to scroll down a little): Last year the blog featured a snazzy continental-looking guy in nice threads (kind of dandified Miami Vice, actually), and this year J.Crew totally ganked the entire look for their spring 2008 catalog.

Levi's 501s

Since you are a casual kind of guy, why not some short-sleeve cotton shirts to wear with your jeans. Like this.

I like high V-neck T-shirts on guys, as well as crewnecks.

This is a cool, casual jacket to wear over T-shirts. It's a little pricey, but it's a reference.

This could all suck in your eyes.

Okay, I'm going to go with the obscure:

Have you ever tried wearing a Sherwani for formal occasions?

Why not try a white Kurta on jeans for informal ones (especially in the summer).

And for shoes--might I suggest these. They're great, if you can find a pair that are comfortable on your feet, but if they're not, they can hurt like hell.

Lori, my Imp of the Perverse likes this watch. I have to wonder if I'd have problems taking it on a plane, though. I didn't have any trouble with my Tool Belt, so maybe it wouldn't be an issue.

hadjiboy, I love Indian fashion, but with a large Indian-American population around here, I don't know if I could get away with it without seeming offensive.
