while everyone is doing baby updates.... I had mine :-)

My darling boy was born nine days ago, after 26 hours of labor. 7 pounds, 12 ounces. Not planning on a c-section, but by that point, I was more than ready for it.→[More:]

That little peachy head under my chin while he is sleeping makes everything totally worth it. I never thought I would say, or even think something like that, but it is completely true.

Congrats! And yep, fuzzy heads and that smell makes everything worth it. From labour to the terrible two's to teenagedom. (at least I hope so on that last part)

sigh - even though I am up at 5:39am typing this (and I have forgotten what it is like to get more than two hours of sleep in a row) I can honestly say I am in love with this little guy. Who knew?

(well, everyone who has a baby, probably - but I never thought I'd have one, so this is pretty crazy for me)
