Get well, MetaChat! It seems like a lot of us are sick (myself included) so I made a get well card.

Especially the Kleenex. Whoever invented that Kleenex impregnated with soft face lotion was a genius.

I already did the flu thing about 6 weeks ago, thank god. Here's support for the rest of you. And also, a soup recipe. (Because I'm too lazy to re-type it.)

By the way, I'm glad you labelled the aspirin. I'm having enough trouble sleeping as it is - a couple of cross-tops would probably not be a good idea.

I woke up this morning unable to tilt or turn my head to the left without significant pain. This card has made me feel better about it.

Thanks youngergirl44, I have been getting 'rebound' flu nearly two weeks now. I'll start to get better, then I'll come into contact with someone who has a different strain and BAM! I'm sick again. I am feeling marginally better today (maybe because I only just now woke up). I will attribute my wellness to your card, however. All the better to explain my internet friends to your meatspace counterparts.

I don't think the flu vaccine was tuned correctly this year. Everyone got the flu here, including the people who regularly get the vaccine (my teacher friends and my friends who are parents, mostly).

Muddgirl- The CDC already acknowledged their screwup. (No one in my family gets one anyways, but we keep up with the news.)

I'm not just taking aspirin! This morning I took:

3 tablespoons Robitussin guaifenesin
2 Robitussin dextromethorphan gelcaps
1 Aleve
1 Zinc tablet
1 12-hour Sudafed

This flu is crazy!
