What are you wearing today? It's been a while since we've done one of these, and folks always seem to enjoy 'em.→[More:] Plus I think it helps people see other site members as actual human beings rather than pixels on a screen, and I think that's a good thing, communityish and whatnot.
My "engineering uniform" - slacks and a button-up shirt. Today, it's my favorite outfit - dark grey pinstripe pants and a inky-black shirt, with a green necklace. Also, my utilitarian, so-old-they-need-to-be-replaced black shoes.
I'm also in a sort of workplace uniform, muddgirl--it's always a long-sleeved dress shirt (with a t-shirt underneath it) and chinoish pants. Today, black button-down, dark gray t-shirt underneath it. Black boxers, tan work pants, gray hiking socks and black clogs.
cargos, a light charcoal crew necked long sleeve shirt. a pair of Clarks' leather desert boots I picked up when I visited my mom in FLA last winter. Black framed glassed that need replacing. I'm too chicken to go try and find some frames I like though.
Long black skirt, red zipper-front cardigan, amber-and-silver pendant necklace, ballet flats. My big glittery watch that someone on the bus once described as "blingy," which amuses me.
Light gray knit golf-type shirt with "CNN Environment" (a department that no longer exists) logo on it, dark gray cargo pants, my black sneakers with the fat white laces. And my dark green hoodie for when I go outside.
Old undies, extremely old black leggings, black socks, black combat boots, old black long sleeved t-shirt, old black sweater, old long denim skirt, hematite thumb ring, amethyst index finger ring, black mens Timex, one emerald earring. It's Monday, dress down day here: thus the old and battered (okay, just very slightly more than usual) motif.
A pair of grey Starbury sneakers, jeans which have a wicked stain on them from the walk to work, a "United States Department of Things Not Yet Tried" t-shirt and a black hooded sweatshirt.
Beige Uggs, a long straight denim skirt with a frayed hem, a cream colored cotton camisole-type top with a beige super cute jacket that has cropped sleeves and a little flouncy thing in the back, and a brown/camel wool scarf.
Working from home uniform - blue jeans, big red shapeless fraying sweater, socks that are a bit thin on the heels, third-best bra. Bizarrely, though, mr alto molests me far more often when I'm wearing such garb than when I'm more dressed up.
grey Royal Robbins capris that are all grubby from moving filing cabinets, blue Melanzana fleece top (a local outdoor clothier), black Craft baselayer top, black penny loafers and black Smartwool ski sox. My remaining functional watch died on Saturday :[
Emerald green short sleeve mock turtleneck (loose necked thing, at least I think that's what mock turtleneck means) tucked in and I'm soooo happy about that! to black trousers that I had to take in last week. another thing I'm happy about.
Black socks, black shoes. Makeup (bleah) and ponytail.
dark blue bootcut jeans, indigo blue and white button-up three quarter sleeve shirt that has a sort of folksy print, silver Kenneth Cole thong sandals.
*** EXCITED: First day this winter I've worn the fall/spring jacket! Yay almost-spring-weather! It's 8C outside, which at this point might as well be freaking Tenerife.
* Brown suede-y slip-ons (Indonesia made me never want to buy laced shoes again! I've saved at least an hour this year not tying shoes!)
* Blue merino wool sweater, crew neck
* Blue short-sleeved collared shirt
* My housemate's black socks (all mine were dirty!)
* A bracelet lanyard thing that is not only the same colors as my university, but also was tied on by my first boyfriend! Sigh!
Blue jeans (Express for Men), Sneakers (Merrell), Gray "Battleship" T (Threadless), White base, blue and black cross-hatched button-down untucked (Banana Republic).
For work today I wore white panties, 'nude'-tone bra, black socks, black t-shirt, black jeans, dark grey (almost black) sweater, black coat, black Lands End shoes. The Jan In Black.
I'm home now, and have worked out and had a shower, so I'm in grey sweatpants and a navy blue T-shirt, beige crocs on my feet.
Constants are: emerald-cut diamond ring on left hand, round-cut diamond ring on right hand, gold AA necklace, gold leverback diamond earrings.
Blue jeans, monochrome converse, big silver hoop earrings, a ponytail, and two pink tops: one is a tank with a plunging V neckline and the other over it is a transparent mesh sleeveless turtleneck with accent stitching creating a bib and buttons up the back of the neck. They're both pink champagne colored. This only cooperates with my hair, doesn't set it off. I've been dressing for my hot pink hair a lot lately. Also a gaudy rhinestone ring in a bunch of colors. My mefite pal from the city is taking the bus to come play house with me, and I'm excitied so, it got me out of black.
A gray chamois shirt, black cords, tan socks and a mantle woven from the finest crushing boredom with accents made from a complete lack of motivation, self- or otherwise.
Last year's black Chucks, white crew socks, faded blue Barhartt jeans, red boxers with white polka dots, a red long-sleeve Calgary Flames t-shirt (as of yesterday, the Flames are in sole posession of first place in the Northwest Division! Woo-hoo! This will last at least another day, I think), and a green & blue plaid flannel shirt. Now I'm off to walk the dog.

me: mint/burnt orange Keen portolas, tan wide wale cords, possibly stripey underwear - I don't remember, black long sleeve spandex-ish shirt, red fleece 1/4 zip pullover.
a black zip-up hoodie, gray t-shirt, gap jeans, and black classic-design sambas. No belt, because these pants are a little too short (they're a 30-inch inseam, when I usually wear about a 32 or 33; they were christmas gift jeans). Oh, and red and black plaid boxers.

It used to be fire-engine-red now turning pink hair. I swear it's liek a scene from psycho every time I Was it, the color will not stick and now I'm contamplating going blond.

Jeans with gold weaved into the denim, my "skinny jeans" because I can't breathe in them.
Red/black/gold tartan high heeled shoes that are totally KILLING MY FEET. but they look hawt!
Dark green tank top underneath a long sleeved purple collared blouse from underneath a dark green thick cozy sweater. Pants are these godawful low-rise jeans that I keep forgetting show of wayyyyy too much of my ass whenever I bend over and need to remember that I shouldn't wear them to work. Shoes are white canvas flats with bright green pears on them.
morning: pajamas, orange sweatshirt, hat, socks, slippers leaving house: black jeans, green waffle thermal shirt, sage green "I Like Machines" t-shirt, blue zip up fleece something, pseudo-tuffskins denim/fleece jacket, hat, scarf, socks, earrings, engineer boots. Particularly excellent outfit. pool: hot pink swimsuit. I don't know if it is excellent or ridiculous on me, I just know I like it. home after scraping snow off the roof for way too long and getting soaked: fleece pants, socks, crocs, lifeguard t-shirt, orange fleece pullover, wool sweater, hat, earrings. Particularly ridiculous "hope I don't have company" outfit
Hot pink tunic-esque (not too long) broadcloth shirt that's pleated on the bodice. (It's from Talbot's, yet not offensively conservative) Black/white tweed pants, CZ studs, black socks and black birkenstock clogs.
And a kelly green 4-H lanyard with my work keys on it.
Oh, and tonight i'll be wearing a black suit, and I can't decide whether to go with white shirt and red/black striped tie, or blue shirt with black tie or blue shirt with blue/yellow striped tie. HALP.
As I leave for work: Slate-gray slacks (cuffed and pleated, and if you don't like it you can bite me) black leather belt, black button-down corduroy shirt, black Docs.
For work, I wore darker jeans, a stretchy white tank top under a maroon three-quarter-sleeve shirt, and grey sneakers. Now, I'm wearing the same tank top and some old fleece pants that are really baggy. I also have on some of the BF's socks and my blue slippers with rhinestones. I'm still wearing my jewelry - hoop earrings and a bear necklace I bought in AZ two years ago, a simple band with some feather details and a garnet culladah ring on my right hand, a thicker band with swirly cutouts and a rectangular ring with stone/mother of pearl insets on my left hand (everything is sterling silver).
For shoveling the car out - track pants over PJs, black moon boots, short jacket.
Then for 'outside' world - brown tights, denim skirt, brown embroidered shirt, and a cropped brown sweater with a little hood
Oh yeah, add big black moon boots and full length down jacket.
I'd like to answer this question right now, because I think I look pretty smashing: men's flannel pajama bottoms, tee shirt, raggedy old hoodie that I love too much to throw away... and lime green fuzzy slippers. Hotchachacha!
Wore a nice black pant and maroon coloured shirt for the interview today. Was planning to wear this tan coloured pant with a blue shirt that I've got but it was in the washer.
Am in my Kurta Pyjama right now, and feel really good in this hot and humid weather--the summer's arrived!
