My word, but it's windy here. "Howling winds" up to 73mph in southern California, according that report. I keep expecting to see a house blowing past. The poor birds keep veering off course. And yet, the sun is shining through the rain. →[More:]California is weird.

OK, seriously, the birds are flying backwards and it feels like the wind is grabbing hold of my windows and shaking them. HARD. I don't like it.

I haven't been outside yet and can't see any trees from this window (only another building 3 feet away), but it looks so nice out. Thanks for the warning.

NOW it looks nice. Now that the pounding rain has stopped. :-)

I have to go get cat food. And people food. But I am scared to go outside.
