Update on that leaked "Where The Wild Things Are" clip that I tried (and failed) to link to a couple days ago. Apparently it's just a VFX test, thankfully. You can see the clip here, I promise this time.
One of my favorite books, I don't relish the idea of it being stretched into a 2 hour movie (it only takes a few minutes to read it to a kid, and that's with lots of annotated pointing out of the cool stuff in the drawings). As often as hollywood fails at making books into movies, you'd think the money guys would just start saying "no", just because the odds are so bad, but sadly. they persist.

Apparently the whole thing film may be reshot.

It seems strange and different to most movies out there. So I hope it gets released without being reshot. I like Spike Jonze, mixed feelings on David Eggers.
