Reminder: Chicago Meetup tonight →[More:]Billy Goat, 6pm. It's going to be REALLY REALLY COLD tonight, and I suspect a bunch of people are going to want to check out the eclipse at some point in the evening, so be sure to bundle up!

I came to work with so many clothes on I felt like a nerd. I hope they will keep me until I get downtown. See everyone tonight! I'll be leaving early for the eclipse, though. The Astronomy Society will be watching it through the school telescope.

We went to the Hancock to watch the moon! But they'd closed off the part of the bar with the best view, so we just got drunk instead.

(Eamon's monster dozen-liquors-in-the-glass drink was too much for the glass and it just broke. Prompting him to tell this very tall tale about an ENORMOUS slab of glass he once found in a scone. Pff. I think Tom Kranz is behind it all. He's such a *jerk*)
