Beelzebufo does not mean "Devil toad." It's taken from Beelzebub, which is from the Hebrew Ba'al Zevuv, which mean "Lord of the Flies." So the name they have concocted is "Lord of the fly--imeanfrogs," and is an unwieldy combination of Latin and Hebrew.
