I've mentioned I'm new. There is some confusion about my gender. I am a girl. But nonetheless I'm so happy people have sent me some balumtimes anyway!

I've never participated in a MeCha Valentine swap before: is there any etiquette I should have known, uh, several hours ago? And do the Valentines magically de-anonymize at a future point? That would be fine with me, either way --- just curious.

I'm going to have to shut down the computer and go make dinner (and caramel corn! yum!) in a few minutes, but it's hard to stop sending Valentines.

You guys are the swellest, truly. I'm so touched.

Elsa: There is no etiquette other than MeCha's usual "don't be mean". And the valentines will stay anonymous for ever.
