13 February 2008

I just tried a Reese's Whipps. I thought it would be like a Reese's version of a 3 Musketeers. I was wrong.[More:]It wasn't nearly as light and fluffy as a 3M, but denser and super sweet. I was all ready to make this my new favorite candy bar, instead I just feel slightly ill.
Boo. I hate it when you get your taste buds all set for something and it's just not right in reality.

I just discovered dark chocolate snickers last week. Now, there's something that is better than the original!

Many of the Reese's brand extensions have been kind of disappointing. It's so hard to improve on the basic milky chocolate plus that grainy, salty peanut butter.

Ever had the Reese's Puffs cereal? It's strange, but I kind of dug it.

*Reese's addiction is making me shake at the mere thought of it* OMg! We can't that stuff over here! ARGH! Me loves anything Reese's. Yes, even the cereal! Especially the white chocolate cups! :P

Yeah, it's back to the Cups, I suppose.

Never had the cereal. When I became an adult, I stopped eating sugary cereals. I do miss them a little though.

I do remember Capn Crunch Peanut Butter cereal, though. That stuff was awesome.

*throws dabitch some white chocolate cups*

Gaah, I don't even make sense during an attack of Reese's cravings. We can't get that stuff over here. Sure sure, the classic cups in some American import shops but not all the crazy spinoffs, all of which I want to try.

*jumps to get white chocolate cups* WEEEEE!

A Reese's version of a Three Musketeers sounds pretty awesome. The Musketeer filling is much (much, much) sweeter than I'd prefer, and the texture of the Reese's cup filling is probably its weakest point.

Yes. Box understands me.
We shall probably go our whole lives now without knowing this delicious mutant*.

*This Delicious Mutant = good band name.

hellbient, Cap'n Crunch peanut butter cereal is *still* awesome. It's one of the vanishingly few pure-guilt sugar-addict foods the mister and I both agree on well, he does crave/consume an astonishing amount of chocolate for a male human being, but that's not quite so terribly naughty. Anyway, once in a very blue moon, we'll both cave in, buy a box, eat it at one go in front of a movie a'la popcorn, and then spend the next day or two writhing and groaning in agony as that mutant HFCS-laden sugary poison leaches out of our pure unadulterated endurance athlete bodies, lol.

heh, lfr, I'll have to try it again soon. I do remember that it would stay stuck in your teeth, and hours later you could still taste that fake peanut butter whatever.

oh, yeah, definitely all that, plus it tears up the roof of your mouth. I didn't say we didn't TOTALLY REGRET it afterwards, but we just. can't. help. ourselves.

I like them. I had one today.

I go for the Big Cup myself. Someone must have been peeping through my window watching me nibble the ends off and stack up the middles of three or four regular cups. Mmmm, 'eanut 'utter....

Hence that campaign "How do you eat them" on the butter cups. I too remove chocolate edges until I have a suitable stack of centers. Screw chocolate GIVE US A JAR OF FILLING AND A SPOON! Actually forget the spoon, just make the jar big enough for my head.

Yes that's gross.

I also roll Pizzas into one giant burrito and wolf that down in one mouthful when nobody is watching.
