You can put it on the board... YES! CNN's magic TV map is bread (sliced).[More:]
I don't have video, I don't have a picture, but CNN has a 52" iPod Touch with some wicked awesome map and pie chart navigation and alteration. They were rocking it out on the Situation Room, and I want to play with it.
I know! I totally want that!

At first, I thought, "Oh, there's some production monkey timing the zoom-in and graphics, but No! That screen is touchalicious!

I saw that a while back, but the laggy and inconsistent response of the graphics gave me the impression that it was faked.

It is much better now, Ard. (I think I've seen it before as well.) When they were adjusting the wedges in the delegate pie charts earlier today and all the numbers were shifting instantly, I was impressed.

Maybe they've worked on it since the New Hampshire primary. The guy would try to touch a county and the one next to it would light up and zoom in. And he had his finger jamming into the city/county he wanted it on.

See, the media is better than having a politician with his finger jamming into the city/county he wanted it on.

In the same vein, I so imagined adjusting the wedgies of the delegates.
