The first time I saw this I had to look several times to see if the guy in the picture was actually my stepbrother, who by all accounts I can tell spends most of his time surfing or skiing. (The other version didn't include the Peru aspect of it, and the photos were much less clear.)
The resemblance was uncanny. This one made it clear that it wasn't at all my stepbrother. That makes me happy.
Poor kitty jumps on a board once and they force her to surf for life. That's evil stage momming going on; see when he turns he cat around as she tries to head back to shore?
i was told The Bees liked traveling and going around places, but after i started taking her around for very short turns outside, i realized that she was trembling with fear within a minute of leaving the place.
She didn't like it, she tolerated it, and maybe she minded less as a baby, but now that someone will listen to her, she means to protest. Still, she is very accommodating.
I lived in Monterey for about a year, way back when. One day, I decided that my cat, Eric, would probably enjoy a walk along the beach. I'm not really sure, at this late date, how I arrived at that decision, but the important thing is that I did. I went out and got him a harness and leash, stuffed him in the car and off we went.
He was less than enthusiastic, let's say. He was OK with the car ride - not a huge fan, mind you, but he tolerated it - but the beach was a Very Bad Thing. I'm guessing it was the noise of the incoming waves that unnerved him. It wasn't so much a stroll along the seaside as a scrape across three feet of beach, him with all four paws dug into the sand and me trying to coax him along. Seeing as he really wasn't digging it at all, I took him back home.
He ran away that night; I didn't see him for a week.
