I don't think so, dersins. I have seen very similar religious switchplate designs, if not that exact one. In fact, eamondaly has one from probably the same series in his house:

That's just more evidence in favor of possible shenanigans. The existence of similar switchplates gives inspiration (and photoshop fodder) for the too-good-to-be-true version oh pollo! linked to.

(I'm happy to be proven wrong-- it would be hilarious-- but I do think it's just too good to be true...)

We had that very switchplate in our house. I grew up Catholic and served 12 years in Catholic schools. No idea how or why my not terribly devout family had that bit of religious clutter, but I can asert that it's real.
