How hard would it be to make a bracelet like this? I gave one to a friend and he lost it. I know nothing about beadwork. Is this impossible?
Like the ones that say "Med Beaded Bracelet" on that page.

I used to do bead work when I was a kid. It wasn't hard. My loom was cardboard but I found this one at Amazon.

A web search on bead loom will get you started. I'm sure there are instructions in the loom kit, too.

Beading is done on a loom? Wow, I had no idea. Learned something. Thanks.

Here's the one I had after the cardboard loom fell apart. It worked well for me although I think the wooden one is more stable and likely to last longer.

How It's Done:
The gist of the process is that you will be using a fine needle to pick up beads and thread them through/across several evenly spaced other threads - like the lines between two telephone poles. You'll be following a pattern to know what bead color(s) to use and when. Think graph paper with each box being another woven bead.

So, it sounds a little involved but it really isn't and the finished craft is very satisfying. I used to do my work with the TV on. I was about eleven at the time. I too made a bracelet.

Oops, here's the intended link. Enlarge the pic to get an idea of how to do the work.

i got one of those for my sister once as a gift. She put it in a yard sale without ever opening it. That's pretty much the destiny of all gifts she gets.
