Sling Blade (no spoil3rs please). Have watched about the first hour of this movie and have found it very slow. Is it worth watching the rest of it?

The first part is for the most part a remake of a short film/ one act, one room, one shot play Billy Bob did that was the origin of the movie. You might as well finish.

I saw it years ago, when it was just out, don't remember much of anything about it, except that I didn't particularly like it. I think it was way over-hyped at the time. ymmv, of course.

It was OK, but very predictable. mr. gaspode really likes the movie; I have no idea why.

I won't tell you to watch it if you don't like it by now. I liked it, but it is slow and wholly depends on whether you're enthralled or repelled by Billy Bob's performance.
