So, there is a featured video on You Tube that is John Mayer playing Justin Timberlake's I Think She Knows Interlude, a portion of music that we closet JT fans have many strong feelings about, all of them good. It's implied that Mayer just heard the song, which has a certain degree of untruth (he mentioned it on his blog back in November). It's also sad that the source material is so roundly dismissed by the YouTube throngs.

However, what is not sad...

Well, it made me laugh anyway.

Since this is likely to be the only time you will ever hear me mention John Mayer, I'll also note that he is a lover of photography, particularly of Leica cameras. There are rumors of him not only modding old Leica lenses for use on that brand's state-of-the-art M8, but also doing modifications for other Leica users.

He is also very tall. I once had a brief conversation with him about video cameras (to bring this full circle) during which I dismissed his actual identity because of his towering presence (this despite knowing he was someone famous and also having heard somebody sing the namesake line of "Your Body is a Wonderland" in our showroom not two minutes prior). Don't [you] make the same mistake.

Incidentally, John Mayer and Justin Timberlake are in many ways cut from the same cloth, representing the dorkiness of white folk in kind and gentle ways. (That's where the Dick in a Box link would go.)
