Python for profit I just got an advance for my first time ever paid pyton work!→[More:]
It's a django-based web accessible database system for the masters program that I recently graduated from.
I love it when a hobby/obsession becomes a way to pay the rent.
Plus, django itself is super easy/powerful, and the amount I'm getting paid is slightly excessive.

Yeah, I always operate on the assumption that whatever I'm wasting my time at today, I'll find some way to make money from in a year or so. And this actually works out sometimes.
Plus, I took the opportunity ot learn how to use SVN, and it's a godsend for any programming / web job. No more /project_name/version17/final/reallyfinal/v2/v3/ for me.
