It's 10 Years Since the Ice Storm. Those were some crazy times. I'm too lazy to make a proper MeFi FPP myself, but my local paper is running some anniversary stories, including a photo slideshow (audio).

I'm from Maine and though I don't live there anymore, my entire family is there still. My brother and his wife had a new baby and they were without power for two weeks. Luckily they had a generator, but that's still bare-bones power.
