For some reason, I just can't help but love Slash. And it makes me happy to know that he's no better at Guitar Hero than I am. Our big NYE was playing GHIII until the ball dropped. (My mom gave it to me for my bday. Yay mom!)
I also hear Michael Schumacher kicked ass at Crash Bandicott
Oddly enough, we're playing Crash of the Titans right now. The girl is offering her dad strategy tips and the boy is clapping his hands and yelling "Yay!" to cheer him on. Family fun.
I got "Guitar Hero: Rocks the 80s" for Xmas and have been playing it so much I may have to put my arm in a sling. "Turning Japanese" is a hell of a lot of fun to play, though.
I truly believe that Guitar Hero is the fondue pot of this generation. When I have children, I will explain to them that the default social activity for some time in my youth was to press button on a plastic guitar in time to music, and they will fall on the floor and roll around laughing, wondering why we were so silly. At least fondue pots give you cheese.
