Someone who is not me is being hauled off by someone who is not me. Beeping and sounds suggest it is authorities who are not associated with me but empowered by my yelling to be called in to deal with said nuisances by some other party.
The Bees is making jazz hands, which is both odd and very cute. i guess she had heard it much more than i, and seems most pleased with the results.

Then again, I'm stuck folding letters tonight, because we MUST ALWAYS BE MARKETING!!!ONE! And the fact that I'm not part of the marketing "team" doesn't make any difference.

On the other other hand, I will be using one of my few actual talents in a moment: the residents are having a party and none of the other staff here know how to open sparkling wine, so I'll be giving a short seminar.

i think they just got officially shushed, somehow and much deserved. i don't care either way, as i didn't have to be the doer.
The Bees was very happy to be able to take her disco nap so i'm guessing it was worse than i knew. She's quite the weirdo; i wish i had filmed her reaction: so very contented to hear the stormtroopering, i think it was much needed.

You'll be gone soon and safe as well, other b, so have a good rest as well.

Provided my relief shows up on time, I'm out of here in another 3-and-a-half hours. So there's that.

i'm on GMT for unknowable reasons so it's been new for a while. She conked out as soon as the ruckus stopped and you're three hours later so we have hours of newness to share.

Yup. There's a decent jazz combo playing ("Girl From Ipanema" at the moment), and while I don't think they're dancing just yet, it's not unheard of. My desk is just down the hall from the auditorium, so I'm pretty much unfazed by whatever revelery they might get up to.

We do the countdown on Eastern Time, so the party sorta wraps up around 9:30 our time.

I'm using this whole thread for next year's Christmas cards. The comments will be the inside text, and a photo of the Bees will be on the cover.
