Attention UK metachatters Okay, so there's this European Nintendo DS game that I desperately want, but I can't find anybody (amazon.co.uk, or any uk ebay sellers) who's willing to ship it to the US. Is there any chance I could sweet-talk one of you UK folks into being the middleman?

Why isn't that available in America? It's potentially awesome.

Are European games compatible with North American systems? I know that isn't always the case for the consoles, you might want to double check before spending the money. (Apparently the Wii is region locked).

seanyboy: Sure I do, check your email, and thanks.

drezdn: I wish I knew. There's a Scrabble for the old GameBoy (the monochrome one) that was released in the US, but neither the GameBoy Advance nor the DS versions have seen US release.

kelly: Thanks for mentioning that. Nintendo's portable systems (the DS, and the various GameBoys), unlike virtually-but-not-quite everything else in the video game world, are region-free.

There's always Play-Asia.

(It's out of stock now, but they're bound to return shortly.)

I checked a few import shops, Play-Asia among them, but they're all out of stock, and most say it's OOP.
