My best friend almost died...AGAIN →[More:]
She has survived carbon monoxide poisoning so bad the medics thought she was dead. She ran over herself with her own car (with an infant in her arms, no less).

This time, she fell down a 75ft embankment and was trapped there, face down in the snow, for 3 hours before they got her in the Medivac copter. She's got some broken ribs and a collapsed lung, but is otherwise OK.

I can't decide if she's the unluckiest person I know or the luckiest. Whatever finally does get her should be SPECTACULAR. Something we just never saw coming...like a freshwater shark attack or a freak macrame accident.

You know, I'd say I want to meet your friend and have drinks, but adding my luck would mean the bar would collapse into a sinkhole before being hit by meteors.

So I'll just say she has the best luck in the world, since she's beaten death twice. Most people don't even win the first fight!

Three times! The CO poisoning and the car accident were two separate incidents. Then this time makes 3.

And I'm not even counting the time she hit some type of bobcat/mountain lion/puma thing with her car.

My sisters introduce her as, "This is E, rossi's friend who dies a lot."

I would say that, by this time, she's playing with the house's money.

(I have a friend, and I think most of us do, whom calamity always finds. It is hard to know if it is bad luck, recklessness, or a combination.)

During morbid-phase of teenagedom we used to tell our close-ecounters-with-death stories all trying to out-do each other. That girl would really have ruined our pathetic little tales.
