I dunno. When my BIL and FIL went to see him, they had to wheel him out in a wheelchair. Compared to the 2007 Shane, he looks healthy in the above photo.

Same story when the BBC aired the (wonderful) The Story of Fairytale of New York in 2005. His girlfriend was there by his side, lighting his cigarettes and getting him another drink. She kept raving about how gorgeous he was.

I just accidentally put gummi candies into my yogurt and oats instead of dried cranberries. SRSLY.

They were in similar looking bags in the fridge. No I did not eat them as is, but rather fished them out and ate them post-yogurt. Seriously.

But since my first exposure to the place was "24 Hours in Tunbridge Wells" on Eric Idle/Neil Innes' "Rutland Weekend Television", I have had trouble believing it to be a real place, SERIOUSLY.
