Counters: check. I even went through the bathroom trash can, since it sits between the counter and the toilet and thought they may have fallen in there.

Dirty clothes: check. I shook everything out and checked pockets before moving it into the laundry room and putting it in the washer. I even checked the lint trap of the dryer (my transit card ended up there once).

If he only takes them off to shower then they're there someplace in your house and they'll turn up. It's pretty unlikely that he lost them while wearing them - he'd have heard them fall off or something. Check the pockets of everything like occiblu suggested, including the pockets of his robe, pockets of stuff in the closet, the trash can in the bathroom, the top drawer of the dresser (might have been on the dresser and fallen in the top drawer), the nightstands, the floors, and inside slippers. Oh, and I think that $7 might be mine.

I know how you feel. I took my son's temperature yesterday with the digital thermometer. After, I cleaned it, put it back in it's holder, and put it.....I don't know where. I went to use it in the morning, and could not find it - anywhere!!! I searched all over, in cabinets, on the floor (blaming the cats), in the kitchen, the bathroom, the other bathroom, the living room. No where to be found.

Came home, and it was on the counter, missing the holder top. No one will 'fess up.

I would call the number, but I'm on hold with Ticketmaster now. In the spirit of finding things, I figured I'd check up on the Styx tickets I ordered in August and haven't received. The show is on the 29th.

I suspect that my mail wasn't being delivered. My name fell off our mailbox some time ago and the BF just put it back up last week. Since this summer, I've missed several bills (not a big deal because I can check/pay everything online), a new credit card, and these tickets (I believe). Sprint even sent me a text message to say that my bill had been returned to them.
