This would be very useful to me. Cats go from soft and carpety feeling to my toes to sharp and stabby when you actually step down on them, in the dark.
My sister worked in a lab that had bred glow-in-the-dark mice. She said that under a blacklight, their ears and toes glowed bright green. In daylight, they looked faintly greenish, like those plastic stars you put on your ceiling (which weren't half as cool as glow-in-the-dark paint, because the paint really looked like a starry sky).
