Metachat holiday card exchange filter - disclaimer [More:] So I'm doing my cards today, and mostly I have to do disclaimers about my handwriting. I have AWFUL hadwriting. It's really really bad. So please forgive the handwriting, bunnies, be glad I type here. Seriously. I'm not high or drunk or anything, I just have the awful handwriting.

Carry on.
My disclaimer is that I haven't even made my cards yet but I'm going to, I'm going to, I'm going to, argh, getting sick in early December has totally fried my holiday intentions, help, in the weeds, hopelessly behind, y'all may be getting your cards in January but you WILL get them I swear I swear!

I have horrid handwriting, too. No worries! It was fun to see the wide range of handwritings.

Mine went out today! And the glue on the envelopes is wimpy, so if yours is open when it gets there, I really did try to seal it.

I have the same disclaimer as mgl, except without the getting sick excuse.

Oh drat! I was claiming that. Wrote mine last week on the fast train to London, seriously bad hand-writing! (but I'm feeling good I got them done so early!)

Thanks girls! I noticed a poor glue quality as well, chewie. AND I wrapped some prezzies and the paper was bad and rippy and stuff too. Oh well. Ho ho ho!

I printed my address labels, as my handwriting is bad. Also, I've already posted all my non-UK cards, but am still a bit behind with cards to the UK, so my apologies for that.

And thank you to all who have sent cards to me. I especially like the cilantro-free one :-)

I have the same disclaimer as mgl and small_ruminant, except my excuse is that I'm moving on the 19th. So after I'm settled in I'll write you all new year's cards.

I also have scrawly handwriting, but I will try to at least make them legible!
(Thanks Wilder, I got my card! My first card of the season!)

I have excellent handwriting, but am terminally late.

Last year, as some of you may remember, my cards were so late that I had to paint little hearts on them.

Mine still aren't out but I'm optimistic. And my handwriting ranges from the magnificent to the scratchy and functional, depending.

I think the email with my addresses may have disappeared down the junkmail filter, and I can't remember who was handling this. If you're reading this, could you resend me mine? Thanks!

Mischief, I still had the email, so I just forwarded it to you. Let me know if there is any problem.

Meanwhile, I too have a handwriting disclaimer. But what do we all expect, trying to have good penmanship with our fuzzy little paws???

I, too, have noticed the "basic" christmas paper and card envelopes have dropped in quality a lot over the last year.

I'm buying my cards tomorrow, so I should do them this weekend.

mischief: Sister Havanna was organizing. I'll forward you the email, though, I still have my copy online. (on preview, nevermind!)

I haven't had a chance to write them and, IIRC, all of mine are either USA or Australia. I'm hopeful they'll still get there on time, but we'll see.

Lesser known posters: I spent like 15 minutes researching who you are before settling on"Merry Christmas", or something completely cringeworthy. Sorry.

I tried to be interesting, but when I re-read them all last night as I was addressing the envelopes, I realized that they all sound stilted and silly. So hopefully that's OK.

Mine went out yesterday, and I've gotten several already! Yay, thank you!

I'm late, but mine are for New Year's.

TPS, I'm glad you included the picture of the drag queen!

F the handwriting! It's just been so damn pleasant to receive cards. I carry them with me as I run my errands and open them when I've completed some tasks.

Thanks to everyone who's sent em! WOO!

Mine are done, expect them shortly. I think the handwriting's passable (although I had a bit too much coffee, so it's a bit jittery, sorry) but my general inanity and lameness are readily apparent.

Just to confirm that mine too will be arriving in January or February or something like that.

I've received two bunny cards (and one from the president of my alma mater, may that place burn slowly and with much chemical offgassing). They certainly brightened my day.

(and rainbaby's handwriting IS atrocious, but adorably so!)
