linoleum stamping- help! This year I decided to upgrade from big floppy rubber stamps to carving linoleum for my solstice cards. The image came out fine, but
→[More:]the stamps come out all splotchy.
I've tried markers, ink pads, and block-printing ink.
The markers and ink pads don't coat the linoleum well enough- it always comes out too light to see.
The block-printing paint attempt comes out with big sections not sticking to the paper, unless I put SO much paint on it that I get a huge rectangular splotch with no pattern discernable at all.
Am I using the wrong paint? Am I using the wrong paper? ("bleedproof" multipurpose art paper) Help!
