Do you love Shrinky Dinks? I've never made anything with Shrinky Dinks but after browsing craftster.org and etsy today, I'm definitely ordering some. I remember the commercials on tv and thinking how silly they were.
This is the cutest thing ever - an 11 year old boy draws pictures on shrinky dinks and then his mom (?) shrinks them and glues magnets on them and sells them on etsy.

More Dinks that have been shrinked:

I love Shrinky Dinks, but haven't done any since I was about eleven.

OMG - glitter workshop (in one of the pictures above) is from my old neighborhood on E. Johnson in Madison. They are completely awesome and nice and friendly and cool. Tons of very cool stuff in their store.

Shrinky dinks - My nieces and nephew are all getting shrinky-dink books for Christmas, and we bought an extra pack of the material so that we can make some for ourselves!

Shrinky-dinks are super fun!

When I was a kid we made Christmas ornament shrinky-dinks out of deli lids from the grocery store. You could use a hole-punch (pre-shrink) to make a place for the string to go through. I think my dad still has the ones we made.

i've been making shrinky dink jewelry since 1999, when my friend introduced me to them for goofy craft projects. and here's the thing: i thought no one else did this. i thought everyone would figure it was weird and silly. i never imagined that one day i would go to a craft fair and see jewelry so similar to my own! so now i've got to start an etsy account. maybe one of these days i can unload all the silly stuff i make, and my paintings, and so forth ...

That's so funny: I just bought a bunch of Shrinky-Dink material for my sponsors' FREE GIFTS. I was going to give 'em a shot tonight.

I know I have some shrinky dink plastic somewhere. We used to do these all the time as a kid, but I don't remember what we made...

I had no idea you could do it with regular #6 plastic. Thanks, interro!
