OMG: This album is Christmas to me I loved this Muppets Christmas album as a kid

Oh, lordy, so did I. I still happen to think "Where the River Meets the Sea" is about as good an example of country gospel as you'll find.

This makes me mad at myself that I used up all my emusic downloads the other day. And also mad at emusic, that this didn't turn up on my "Christmas" search.

I may have to spring for this so I can put "Where the River..." up for the Musical Advent Calendar.

Agreed! We love that album at my house, too. And this thread inspired me to turn on another well loved holiday album- Hanson's Snowed In. Great album.

Best all time holiday album. It wasn't Christmas until my mom put that record (and, later, CD) on.

I wouldn't have known about this if it wasn't for 17 dots, the eMusic blog. The album belonged to my brother, but I think I played it more than him.
