Thank God I raked the leaves today. The sign that Waste Management put up said they were doing curbside leaf pick up tomorrow.

They just got done sucking up my leaves TODAY. Do these people not have a correct calendar?

Wouldn't surprise me.

I actually read the brochure they gave us at the start of pickup season, which gave today as the correct date. I chose to believe that, altho my husband scoffed, as he'd seen the sign they'd posted at the front of our subdivision.

The leaves in my backyard are still there. My plan is to either run them over with the mower or rake them to one side to compost. My front yard trees were kind enough to finish shedding just in time for today's rakathon. And boy howdy, I do prefer to rake leaves rather than pine straw.
