NoSpaceBarFunction? Took.my.Dell.laptop.in.→[More:]

Needed.a.power.jack.I.thought.

They.said.that.did.not.fix.it...new.motherboard.required.

I.decided.to.go.ahead.and.do.it.

Now.the.computer.works.but.not.the.spacebar.

Setting?
Bad.motherboard?
Bad.reinstall.of.the.keyboard?

Help!

It is possible that the ribbon cable that attaches the keyboard to the motherboard wasn't seated properly danf, but...I don't think I've ever seen it when only one key didn't work!

Either way, sounds to me like it's gotta go back "in". Sorry, I didn't have the energy to replicate the effect!
