Is Europe a country? Don't know if this has done the rounds already (it has plenty of views). If not, prepared to be amazed...
I heard about this, but hadn't watched it until now. Kellie Pickler is stupider than (old school Newlyweds) Jessica Simpson, but just as confident that her stupidity is cute.
FUCK! Is she that stupid? Europe? A country? We fought several wars against ourselves? Is she that fuckin' stupid? I mean, I'm from Germany? (I don't know...if she knows it without mentioning Hitler (the fag). I can't believe this shit...HOW CAN ANYONE BE THIS SSTUPID?
My Take.
FUCK! Is she that stupid? U.S.A? A country? We fought several wars against ourselves? Is she that fuckin' stupid? I mean, I'm from Texas? (I don't know...if she knows it without mentioning Lincoln (the fag). I can't believe this shit...HOW CAN ANYONE BE THIS SSTUPID?
Thing is, from a non European perspective, Europe's an affiliation of States with a federal law and several state laws. It sort of is a country. That's labouring a point. She didn't know that. She just didn't really know what Europe was. But Hell, I was chatting to someone tonight about his overseas work and the only reason I knew Senegal is in West Africa is because of the football. A little less education and I've had told you I hadn't heard of Senegal and that Africa was a country.
More disturbing to me was the casual "comedic" sexism. Yeah she's a blonde woman. Way to reinforce your outdated stereotypes Mr Television.
Agreed on the sexism, seanyboy. I was pretty floored at what the announcer was saying. But then I watch next-to-no television, so maybe I'm out of touch.
How awesome was it that the fifth-grader was faking having gotten the wrong answer?
The sexism really bugged me. The American Ditz who thought Europe was a country and had never heard of "Hungry" but heard of "Turkey" (hey, that was funny), didn't surprise me at all. Neither did it surprise me that the fifth grader got it right - a lot of people kinda wing it through school and forget everything by the time they're twenty.
Wait, she's someone i should be aware of? i think not.
i can't believe i finally watched that.
i did not need to be exposed.
Or i woulda just been at the bar.
