London Christmastime meetup? Not to mention welcoming terrapin and turtlegirl to the UK in style! Come inside.→[More:]

So, the quite-frankly-awesome terrapin and turtlegirl are over in the UK for a couple of weeks this December. We must greet them in the only way we know how!

Plus, it's been ages since we've had a London meetup, right?

Plus, Christmas, right?

So. How does Friday 21 December sound for people? Or do we think the pubs will be godawful on the Friday before Christmas? In which case, how about the night before?

I'm up for it on either night. But they had better bring Hayley with them or I'll sulk.

Yes, I know Hayley'd have to spend six months in quarantine, but as the UK dog quarantine kennels are only in Chingford I can visit her every day, bond with her and make her forget all about every wanting to go back to America.

Friday bad as am at a gig, Thursday good as it means that work will pay for my train ticket. Result.

I'm going to be leaving the country on Friday, so my vote would be for Thursday, although I'm not sure if the SO would let me. :)

turtlegirl and I are leaning toward Thursday as well. We are going to an EPL footie match on Saturday and we'd like a rest day between hangovers.
