Mister Splashy Pants is winning by a landslide. Another cautionary tale (whale tale?) about doing online voting.
What's wrong with Mister Splashy Pants? I would totally dig that name.

Well in defense of the list, they did leave off "Sushi" and "Sashimi".

I voted at lunchtime, after reading about it on Digg or Reddit or somewhere. It was 21% for Mr. SP at that time...now it's 65%. Good thing there wasn't a Mr. Stephen Colbert option or Mr. SP would have no chance.

From the title, I thought this was a thread about the Miami - Pittsburgh game. But no.

I really don't know what to think about you people. Whales are grand and noble creatures, mythic and magnificent - awesome monarchs of the deep. So, I also voted for Mister Splashy Pants.

Those other names stink. They all sound like prescription medications or J-pop stars or the children of new-agey hippies.

I shall forever be disappointed that the Canadian Federal government would not allow Nunavit to name itself "Bob." It was a terrific opportunity, lost.
