I am both football and TV ignorant Does football happen on TV on Wednesdays? →[More:]We're thinking of going to a brewery this Wednesday but if there's a game on it'll be too packed to bother.
I'm pretty sure small_ruminant's local town is San Francisco. Which is convenient, because not only do they not have a basketball team, they don't have a football team this year either.
There are occasional college football games on Wednesday, doubt there are any this week though. The big thing on my sports schedule for this hump day is the Big10/ACC (basketball) Challenge. One of of my favoritest things. ACC rulez!
There may not be any big games on, but on Wednesday NBC will be running Christmas in Rockafeller Center, so good luck finding a seat near a TV. I'm sure the bars will be packed. Alcohol and Al Roker are an American tradition.
What? What the hell is Christmas in Rockafeller? Is it an east coast thing? The west coast doesn't have any Rockafeller anythings does it? I hope you're kidding. Damn, I think I need to start paying more attention to things.
heh. box, I missed the burn, so happy was I that there would be no game. Thanks, y'all, for pointing it out...
Don't expect your visit to be football-free though...The TVs will probably be tuned to ESPN which will be finishing up the tortured analysis of all of last week's games and moving on to painfully thorough (yet mostly meaningless) preview of the coming week's games.
