I don't think I have ever been able to determine how to look at these. Is it like a Magic Eye picture? Should I lean in close and try to cross my eyes? Perhaps there should be a special service where they draw a little face and lines for arms and legs over the ultrasound picture. That would help me a lot.
It's a wee bean (pun intended)! I think that's the clearest ultrasound picture I've ever seen. I usually have to go, "Uh huh, I see it!" whilst lying through my teeth, but I really can see the sprout in this one.

Teeps: first photo - oval dark shape, with bean in the middle. Big round thing towards the top of the oval is the beans head. Arms (on the sides) and legs (from the bottom) are sticking out of her/his torso. I think you can even see the umbilical cord to the left.

It was tres amazing. I've never felt so proud or humbled all at once.
Red - she's feeling . . . decent. Some days are great, some evenings are tough on her - nausea and queasiness. She's tired a lot, but I keep making her take naps and leave the laundry and cleaning to me. She's feeling fat, but she understands she's making a baby in there, and I just keep telling her how amazing and lovely she is. We're making it just fine, although she is very much looking forward to the second trimester!
