I'm a loser I did not "win" the $79 Wii from Amazon. Ah well, probably better that way. Anyone else who voted should go check at Amazon.com/CustomersVote !
I also didn't 'win' the Wii. Didn't win anything when they did something similar last year, either.

The good news, though, is that Wii Guitar Hero III is probably the worst version. I hope this serves as some small consolation, TPS.

(Also, I'm almost more excited about the possible-cheap-mixer than I am about the possible-cheap-Wii. Please don't tell anyone I said that.)

Why's it the worst? I think it's fun.

In fact, it's the only reason I bothered unpacking my Wii after my move.

It only has mono sound, which kinda wrecks the multiplayer modes. (They'll probably fix that with a patch eventually, though.) At least right this minute, it doesn't have the advantages (download packs, a critical mass of online competition) of the 360 version. And the graphics are only slightly better-looking than the PS2 version. Don't get me wrong--Guitar Hero III is a pretty good game on any platform.

But if you're deciding whether to buy it for PS2, PS3, 360 or Wii, you lucky bastard, I'd encourage picking up one of the other versions.

Nor did I. From this I conclude that they never really had any in the first place, because one of us totally, totally would've won if they did. Stupid lying Bezos-bozos.
