Ewww. It's stuff like this that gives credence to those quacky "cleanse & purge" infomercials that are on 40 cable channels, in the wee hours, every night.

You know, I'm normally fairly easily grossed out. But this was just sort of fascinating to look at. I mean, it's a giant stomach-shaped hairball. It's kind of awesome.

Then again, it's 4:15 a.m. and I have yet to get started on the pumpkin pies.

Heh. Paulsc, you just guaranteed that I won't overeat today. I'll just think of that picture and be put right off. So, thanks! (maybe I'll drink more to compensate. And forget).

(a bezoar isn't just a hairball, it's any concretion found in the gi tract of animals -- useful in ruminants, not so in people who have OD'd on drugs that are predisposed to form bezoars. Or eaten hair.)
